Translate Virtaal

Virtaal ships a language once its level 1 is translated: what everyone sees, from the welcome screen and menus to editing a file. Level 2 is settings and screens seen once, level 3 everything else. Translate level 1 first and your language ships in the next release.

  1. Download your language's translation pack. LANG-level1.po is level 1, LANG-level2.po levels 1 and 2. Files such as gtk30-LANG-level1.po hold toolkit messages your system doesn't translate yet.
  2. Translate it, in Virtaal or any PO editor.
  3. Zip it and send it with the Translation update form.
